In this episode, we reflect on our 150 episodes thus far, and discuss some new format changes that will be taking place in our desire to broaden the reach of the show. These changes will allow us to keep doing what we do, but with even more content and platforms.
Then, we rank the 13 canonic Bealtes albums and discuss how we came up with the rankings. Do you agree with us? Do you think we have it all wrong?
Thanks for all your support and for listening all these years, and we look forward to continuing to connect with you in all our upcoming episodes!

We're excited to share our discussion and analysis of George Harrison's 1970 album All Things Must Pass, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. We talk about the album, songs, the recording, the Phil Spector influence, and much more. Share your thoughts on All Things Must Pass here:

Happy 2020! Join us in our first episode of the year as we dig into the last Wings tour of the UK in 1979, with a specific look at the set of gigs they played in Glasgow, Scotland. Paul and his "Back to the Egg" band are in great form, having fun and playing tightly together. We discuss the diverse setlist which includes some surprises, our disappointment that Wings basically ended after these gigs, and of course, we comment on Paul's usual hilarious pre-song banter.

Episode 147: Interview with "Miss (Chris) O'Dell!"
Friday Dec 27, 2019
Friday Dec 27, 2019
Go back to the late 1960s/early 1970s as Dave interviews Chris O'Dell, who worked for the Beatles at Apple Records beginning in 1968, and continued working through the 1970s with CSN&Y, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and many others. Chris is famous for inspiring George Harrison's 1973 song "Miss O'Dell" (The B-side of "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)), but she had many more fascinating adventures and experiences working closely with the Beatles including seeing the Rooftop Concert, helping with the Concert for Bangladesh, and much more.
Enjoy this interview!
Chris's book can be found here:
Thanks for all your support in 2019, and we look forward to more Beatles fun in 2020!

Episode 145: Ringo's "What's My Name" Album Review!
Sunday Dec 01, 2019
Sunday Dec 01, 2019
Better late than never! Here is our review of Ringo's new album What's My Name, released in late October 2019. We discuss all the tunes, including the cover of John Lennon's "Grow Old With Me," as well as the plethora of background vocalists and rotating lineups on each track. We also consider Ringo's recent comments about not making any more full-length albums and how that idea may have helped this album.

Note - the cover of "Grow Old With Me" referenced in the episode was by the Postal Service, not Death Cab for Cutie (same lead singer, though!).
